Railway path Zermatt-Täsch (No. 50)

The path leads through areas with and without forest, over roots and stones, meadows and pastures. Mostly in view: the compositions of the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway. Shortly before 9 am and shortly after 5 pm also the panorama carriages of the Glacier Express. At the large marmot colony, the marmots whistle only when people approach. The sounds of the railway do not disturb them. Those who sit still will soon see the cute animals again.

At the Air Zermatt heliport at the exit of Zermatt, the helicopter activities can be observed depending on the weather. The fast takeoffs and landings are sometimes a matter of life and death. For example, when the helicopters return from their mission and the mountain rescuer is still balancing on the skids of the helicopter.
